This tour has been on my ideas list for some years. If insufficient interest is shown, I will be going with a friend on or shortly after 17th March 2026. This will represent a preliminary visit enabling me to recommend the place with genuine first hand experience.
This is a new idea for the most adventurous of you, a location not (as far as I know) offered by any of the major tour companies. The Lodge is in the heart of the largest forested area in Africa. Full details can be found in a recent brochure (see ?) but this has been updated, please contact me for the latest information. I have a list of the speciality birds and a full list of mammals of the area. This is just a one-location, 10-day trip so could link up with 1 or 2 other destinations to make the journey to Africa worthwhile in cost and time. Our journey to CAR will pass through Nairobi. The charter plane to the lodge holds 8 people and at present it is full. A wait list would be helpful as another plane load might be possible.
